Certified BIM Coordinator. (coming soon)
Our CBC course is the first and only BIM certified course for project coordinators in Vietnam.
The Certified BIM Coordinator (CBC) is the fourth and most demanded certificate offered by TBFA’s BIM Education Program. It is a must-have certification for project coordinators or team leaders who intend to work and participate in a BIM-enable project immediately. Vietnam's current BIM Roadmap stipulates that by 2021, the building industry will have to adopt BIM and implement on all Grade A, Infrastructure, and Category I construction projects. This means Vietnam's Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Building Operation professionals will have to learn and apply BIM at the design, engineering, and construction level. This 20-hour course provides an in-depth look at Building Information Modeling and building coordination systems that are required to apply for the majority of the construction projects in Vietnam.

Description.
This one-of-a-kind in-depth course introduces you (the CBC candidate) to the various process and components of the Building Information Modeling coordination systems. This course breaks down the process of apply BIM and VDC to various types of high profile construction projects. The objective of this course is to advance the fundamentals of BIM and what was learned in the CBP course into the real world.
This course is intended for the candidate to put this knowledge and coordination system to work immediately on their current or in the near future projects. Additionally, we will be utilizing various real projects as case studies in Vietnam as well as the surrounding regions such as Singapore and Malaysia. Our CBC course supports the candidate to apply the current traditional process and turns it into a much more beneficial BIM coordination system.
The overall objective of this course is to prepare and ready the candidate with the right tools and knowledge to execute a BIM project in Vietnam or within any other ASEAN nations. We want to equip our candidates with not only practical skills but also a comprehensive understanding of how much BIM can impact their current workflows.

Elements of our BIM course.
The main strategy for each session is through lectures and collaborative working discussions.
-
The first part of the session will be the lecture by the instructor on a specific topic for that week.
-
The second part of the session is to separate into groups of specific trades in order to discuss the relationship of the day’s topic relating to that trade.
-
The third and final part of the session is to create teams from each trade in order to solve or communicate a specific problem relating to the day’s topic.
Upon completion of the course, the participant is required to take the course exam in order to obtain the designated title. For more information on the exam, please refer to the Course Exam Booklet or contact your program advisor for details.
